Meet
Sarah

Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m a Nationally Board Certified Animal Massage Practitioner. I completed my studies in foundation level massage at Northwest School of Animal Massage. I then went on to complete advanced massage at Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage, with a focus on Senior Equine Massage.

My horse journey began with an exploration into liberty horsemanship, where I learned the art of building trust and communication with horses sans halters. Volunteering at local horse rescues soon followed, adding layers of compassion and hands-on experience. It wasn’t long before I adopted my own horses, further deepening my bond with these majestic creatures.

Embracing a new chapter, my family moved to our serene farm in Arlington in 2023, ideally located across the street from the Pilchuck Tree Farm Equestrian Lot / Bracken Trailhead. Massage is an essential part of your horse’s care and I am dedicated to keeping senior horses comfortable and ridable, and all horses relaxed and trail-ready. I am thrilled to share my passion for equine massage with the community by providing bodywork right on my farm.

Services

  • Incorporate a massage into your trail ride with an Express Massage.

Equine massage isn't just a luxury or a spa day—it is a wellness essential on par with regular farrier visits and veterinary care.

For senior horses, it is a game-changer. As horses age, their muscles lose elasticity and their joints stiffen. Massage helps manage the aches of old age, improves circulation, and maintains the flexibility needed to stay active.

If you want your horse to perform at their peak, stay comfortable in their own skin, and remain rideable well into their golden years, bodywork needs to be a core part of their maintenance routine. A horse that feels good moves better, lasts longer, and enjoys their work.

Express massages are done on my farm, across the street from the Pilchuck Tree Farm Equestrian Parking Lot.

  • Mobile massage is a concierge service, provided by prior arrangement only.

What to expect at my farm

Welcome to my dedicated equine massage space! Uniquely nestled across the street from the Pilchuck Tree Farm Equestrian Lot at the Bracken Trailhead, I offer a covered treatment area with mats and cross ties. Or if your horse is more comfortable in the open, we also offer a hitching post. The option to simply hold your horse is always available as well.

While your horse enjoys their session, we invite you to take a moment for yourself—grab a glass of iced tea and settle into one of our comfortable chairs to relax.

Just stroll down my driveway and let the magic begin. Your horse will thank you with every stride!
